Jeanette L. Wilson, 77, of Benton died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010, at Saline Memorial Hospice House in Bryant. She was born June 17, 1932, in Leachville to the late E.E. "Hank" and Lucille Moore Pickens.
Mrs. Wilson was an employee of AMOCO Northeast in New Jersey, president
and manager of Abilene (Texas) Christian University Credit Union and she retired
from then-First National Bank of Tyler, Texas (now Regions Bank). She was an
active member of the Church of Christ. She was a graduate of Little Rock High
School and attended then-Little Rock Junior College (now University of Arkansas
at Little Rock) and Abilene Christian University.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Dr. Gerald T. Wilson; two sons, John Wilson and wife Susan of Benton and David Wilson and wife Denise of Dallas, Texas; a sister, Joyce Branscome-Lusk of Hot Springs Village; eight grandchildren, Aaron Wilson and wife Suzanne of New York City, Christie Pinney and husband Ted of Sherwood, Julie Bittle and husband Matthew of Benton, Melanie, Brian and Brett Wilson and Lauren and Alyssa Dunlap, both of Dallas, Texas; five great-grandchildren, Tyler and Tatum Pinney, Jackson Bittle and Chelsea and Brayden Wilson; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at the Dial and Dudley Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Jerry Almond and Jim Gardner officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. at Jonesboro Memorial Park with the Rev. J. Leon Wilson, Mrs. Wilson's brother-in-law, officiating.

Dorothy Mae Jennings, 76, of Benton died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010. She was born Feb. 26, 1933, in Amite, La.
Mrs. Jennings owned Jennings Alignment Service in Greenville, Miss., and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Ernestine Cutrer; her husband, Edwin P. Jennings; and a brother, Roy Cutrer.
Survivors include four sons, Will Jennings and wife Amy of Bryant, Michael T. Jennings of Sheridan, Robert E. Harrison of Robert, La., and William Jennings of Benton; four brothers, Leon, Jessie, Glen and Raymond Cutrer, all of Amite, La.; a sister, Jeanette Grimes of Amite, La.; and four grandchildren, Brittney Jennings, Robin Brown, Robert Harrison III and Robin Lynn Harrison.
Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at New Rosemont Cemetery with the Rev. Doug Pruitt officiating.
Donald Alston, 62, of Bauxite
Donald Alston, 62, of Bauxite died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010. He was born June 16, 1948, in Michigan to John and Jamie Alston.
Mr. Alston was a Navy veteran and a construction superintendent.
Cremation arrangements are by Ashby Funeral Home.

Harlan Curtis Beaty, 56, of Jones Mill
Harlan Curtis Beaty, 56, of Jones Mill died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010. He was born Jan. 17, 1954, in Little Rock to Virgil Curtis and Dora Lee McNew Beaty.
Mr. Beaty was a member of First Baptist Church in Benton.
He was preceded in death by his father; a brother, Joseph Beaty; a nephew, Shane Howard; his grandmothers, Dixie Beaty and Ula May Ryan; and his grandfather, Virgil Beaty.
Survivors include his mother; a son, Christopher Beaty Crouch of Little Rock; three sisters, Sue Howard, Vicki Sumler and husband Jack and Maria Banks, all of Benton; a brother, Douglas Beaty of Benton; three half-sisters, Donna, Paula and Ellen Ussery, all of Burleson, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at New Rosemont Cemetery with Dr. Rick Grant officiating.
Roy Leon Campbell, 67, of Benton
Roy Leon Campbell, 67, of Benton died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010, at his home. He was born May 11, 1942, at Calf Creek near Snowball, Ark., to the late Roy G. and Eva Christian Campbell.
Mr. Campbell was employed by McConnell Heavy Hauling as a dispatcher.
He also was preceded in death by a sister, Jo Ann Rhue.
Survivors include his wife, Jo Campbell; four sons, Randy Campbell and wife Shari of Nashville, Tenn., Keith Campbell and wife Vanessa of Little Rock, Steven Campbell of Benton and Jason Campbell and wife Leah of Benton; four grandchildren, Dustin and Brittany Campbell of Little Rock and Sydney and Madison Campbell of Nashville, Tenn.; a brother, Clifford Campbell of Springfield, Mo.; and a sister, Sue McGovarn of Witts Spring.

Franklin D. Johnson, 72, of Benton died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010. He was born June 6, 1937, in the Bland community near Paron to the late Ollie T. and Villa Johnson.
Mr. Johnson worked 35 years for Lucent Corp. in Little Rock as a drill press operator and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
He also was preceded in death by four brothers, O.T., Eugene, Johnny and
Charlie, and a sister, Mildred.
Survivors include his wife, Earlene Johnson; two sons, Greg Johnson and wife
Dawn and Jodie Johnson and wife Lisa, all of Benton; a daughter, Lou Ann Brady of

Joseph Leo Malloy, 37, of Cabot died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010. He was born June 10, 1972, in Cumberland, Md., to William Sr. and Janet Champagne Malloy, now of Benton.
Mr. Malloy was a media specialist for Arkansas Gov. Mike Beebe. He was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include his parents; his wife, Erika Leah Tipton Malloy; a son, Marshall Malloy of Cabot; a sister, Tammy Herrell of Cumberland, Md.; three brothers, William Malloy Jr. of Cumberland, Md., James Malloy of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Christopher Malloy of Seattle, Wash.; his in-laws, Brian and Donna Stewart of Porum, Okla.; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

James “Cap” Adams, 85, of Bryant died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010. He was born April 30, 1924, in Sardis, Tenn.
Mr. Adams was a pipefitter at Alcoa for 36 years and a member of Mt. Carmel Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J.E. and Vella Adams, and a sister, Evalene Richey.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Betty Jo Boone Adams; a daughter, Amanda Haley and husband Tom of Benton; a son, Brian Adams and wife Kathy of Bryant; four grandchildren, Nathan Hopkins and wife Stephanie, Jessica Bursk and husband Eric, John Haley and Jessica Haley; and four great-grandchildren, Bliss Burton, Jax Hopkins, Paisley Hopkins and Avery Bursk.

Albert Vernon "A.V." Rothenberger, 84, of Benton died Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010. He was born Feb. 15, 1925, in Benton.
Mr. Rothenberger was retired from the chemical department at Alcoa. He was a member of the Scimitary Scrine Blue Lodge 34 in Benton, a World War II Navy veteran and a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Rothenberger; two nieces, Linda Svartman and husband Sam of Benton and Mitzi Dunn and husband Ron of Little Rock; three nephews, William B. Cannon and wife Vivian of Benton and Las Vegas, Nev., James David Cannon of Heber Springs and John H. Rothenberger and wife Sharon of Chesterton, Ind.; five grandnieces and grandnephews; and four great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.

Carl D. Martin, 73, of Bryant, formerly of Waterloo, died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010, at Saline Memorial Hospice House.

James David Nalley, 87, of Mabelvale
James David Nalley, 87, of Mabelvale died Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010. He was born Sept. 6, 1922, in Little Rock to the late Samuel David and Pearl Nalley.
Mr. Nalley was a Navy veteran of World War II and was a member of the United Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Brewer and Leona Stephens, both of of Wilberton, Okla.; two brothers, Daniel Nalley of Little Rock and Sam Nalley of Chattanooga, Tenn.; two sisters, Mary Bledsoe of Murrieta, Calif., and Esther Bishop of Keyes, Calif.; and numerous family members and friends.

Irene Agnes Marshall, 86, formerly of Benton
Irene Agnes Marshall, 86, of Madison Wis., formerly of Benton, died Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010, at Hospice Care in Madison. She was born in Milwaukee, Wis., to the late Peter and Agnes Pernush.
Mrs. Marshall lived in Benton for 28 years with her husband, Virgil, who preceded her in death in 2003. They moved to Benton in 1975. She helped run Pernush Dry Cleaning and Tailoring store with her husband.
She also was preceded in death by numerous sisters and brothers-in-law, Ruby Marshall, Josie and Dule Arey, Elsie and Jimmie Clay and Bob and Opal Morgan.
Survivors include her sisters-in-law, Ruth Lovell and Mary Marshall; her brother-in-law, Martin Marshall; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, at the Ashby Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10, in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in the Avilla community.
Visitation will follow after the funeral service Tuesday evening.
Family comments: These past six years since Virgil’s death, Irene lived with one or the other of her two children, Michael Peter Marshall in Denver, Colo., or Carol Jean Marshall in Cottage Grove, Wis. Irene was a gentle, happy woman who loved to laugh. Family meant the world to her and she meant the world to her family.

Jeanette Parker Brown, 84, of Benton died Thursday, Feb. 11, 2010, at Benton Healthcare Center. She was born April 29, 1925, to the late Dallas and Margaret Edwards Parker.
Mrs. Brown was a member of West Bauxite Missionary Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Family comments: She enjoyed carpentry, camping and anything outdoors.
She also was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Vernon Brown.

LaVonda Davis, 72, of Bauxite died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010. She was born July 8, 1937, in Prattsville.
Mrs. Davis was a housewife and of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll D. Davis; a brother; and two sisters.
Survivors include a son, Donnie Davis of Bryant; two daughters, Deana Clem of Bryant and Vonda Dabbs of Bauxite; a sister, Lorece Chapman of Cookeville Tenn.; five grandchildren, Dawson and Sadie Dabbs, Jessie Davis and Britney and Brandon Clem; and a great-grandson, Mason Clem.

Mary Ruth Hibler, 102, of Benton
Mary Ruth Hibler, 102, of Benton died Thursday, Feb. 11, 2010, at Grace Healthcare in Benton. She was born Sept. 30, 1907, in Altamont, Mo., to the late Elwood and Jessie Tedrick Snyder.
Mrs. Hibler married William L. Hibler on Sept. 2, 1928. They retired to Springdale
from Trenton, Mo., in 1973. They moved to Butterfield Trail Village in Fayetteville in
1994 and she lived there until September 2009.
Mrs. Hibler was an active member of the Rebekah Assembly of Kansas, joining
in 1933 and serving as president of the Kansas chapter in 1950-51. She was a mem-
ber of Eastern Star and held the positions of Worthy Matron and district Grand Ma-
tron. She was a member and past president of the Springdale American Legion Auxiliary and the Springdale Book Lover’s Club.
Mrs. Hibler received the Honorable Volunteer Service Award from the Department of Veteran’s Affairs for 21 years (20,746 hours) of volunteer service to veterans at the VA Medical Center in Fayetteville. She received a prestigious award from Northwest Medical Center Auxiliary in Springdale for 21 years (2,663 hours) of volunteer service at Springdale Memorial Hospital. She volunteered at Butterfield Trail Village for more than 10 years.
She also was preceded in death by her husband of 71years, a brother, Loren Snyder; a sister, Eva Snyder Root; and a nephew, John R. Hibler of Oklahoma City, Okla.
No funeral service is planned. Burial will be Tuesday, Feb. 16, in Mt. Ayr Cemetery at Altamont, Mo., under the direction of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home.

Linda Gale White, 71, of Benton
Linda Gale White, 71, of Benton, formerly of Malden, Mo., died Friday, Feb. 12, 2010, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born July 2, 1938, in Cape Girardeau, Mo., to the late Herman and Ethel Strong Matthews.
Mrs. White was a member of the First Baptist Church of Benton, Genesis Sun-
day School class and THEOS. She was a sales clerk at Sterling Department Store
and then spent 22 years as a cafeteria worker with the Malden (Mo.) Public Schools.
She also was preceded in death by her husband, Charles C. White, and two
brothers, Ernie and Robert Matthews.
Survivors include a daughter, Gayla Smith and husband Greg of Benton; two grandchildren, Gregielle and Gunnar Smith, both of Benton; a brother, Leo Matthews of Herculanium, Mo.; a sister, Daisy Tilley of Mammoth Springs; and numerousl nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010 at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Maldean, Mo., with the Rev. James Gore officiating. Burial will be in Malden Memorial Park Cemetery.

Walter Eugene Addie, 65, of Traskwood died Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010. He was born Jan. 25, 1945, in Little Rock to the late Ruie and Dorothy Addie.
Mr. Addie was a heat and air mechanic for the state of Arkansas and was of the Baptist faith.
He also was preceded in death by three brothers; four sisters; and a granddaughter, Shelby Denise Stafford.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Wilson Addie; two daughters, Patressia Stricklin and husband Jay of Sheridan and Patience Addie of Traskwood; a brother, Oliver Joyce of Scott; a sister, Deborah Gibbs of White Hall; seven grandchildren, Danielle Thomas and husband Drew of East End, Jessica Bolls and husband Brandon, Britney Harrington and husband Thomas and Jay Anna Wiggins and Cassie Stricklin, all of Sheridan, and Michael Walter Stafford and Michaela Nicole Addie, both of Benton; and five great-grandchildren, Madyson and Aleigna Paige Bolls and C.J. Vada Joyce LeQuieu, 68, of Benton died Monday, Feb. 15, 2010. She was born March 14, 1941, in Bauxite to the late Oliver and Helen Hart.
Mrs. LeQuieu was a member of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church. She was employed for many years as a bookkeeper with the family business as well as other companies.
She also was preceded in death by her husband, Steve LeQuieu.
Survivors include a daughter, Jennifer Huckaby; two sons, Tim Huckaby and
Jeff Huckaby and wife Rhonda; two stepsons, Laramie LeQuieu and wife Kathy and
Brandon LeQuieu and wife Ginger; her mother-in-law, Martha Jean LeQuieu; nine grandchildren, Shane, Lindsey, Ashley and Taylor Huckaby, Chrissy and Lorie John-
son, Jacob and Megan Nolan and Kendal LeQuieu; two great-grandchildren, Hayden and Jaylynde Johnson; a brother, Rick Hart; a sister, Phyllis Minner; two brothers-in-law, Brad and Bill LeQuieu; a sister-in-law, Beverly Harlow; two aunts, Polly Schrader and Inez Hart; and numerous other family members and friends.

Family comments: Joyce was a loving mother and grandmother who thought of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren constantly and was loved by all of us and will be greatly missed.

Dorothy Jean Westbrook, 80, of Benton died Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010. She was born Dec. 10, 1929, in Ottawa, Kan., to the late E.R. and Etta Brashear.
Mrs. Westbrook worked at the Curtis Mathis furniture plant and retired from West Side Pharmacy. She was of the Baptist faith.
She also was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Ward “Heck” Westbrook, and a sister, Helen Dedrick.
Survivors include two sons, Bud Westbrook of Tull and Bruce Westbrook of Benton; a daughter, Linda Rai Smith of Little Rock; a sister, Vivian “Mickey” Ramsey of Benton; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, at Little Rock National Cemetery with the Rev. Curtis Kyle officiating.

Lucille Lilly Todd, 83, of Benton died Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010. She was born July 27, 1926, in Oilton, Okla., to the late Lee and Laura Broderick.
Mrs. Todd was a homemaker and of the Presbyterian faith.
She also was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey C. Todd Sr.; a brother, Leroy Broderick; and two sisters, Helen Jordan and Sophia Huffman.
Survivors include three sons, Dewey Todd Jr. of Fairfield, Calif., Bobby Todd of Chester, Calif., and Floyd Todd of Benton; a brother, Ted Broderick of Fairfield, Calif.; a sister, Thelma Jordan of Fairfield, Calif.; four grandchildren, Kelly, Carrie, Travis and Kimberly; and seven great-grandchildren, Taylor, Brayden, Megan, Cassie, Paige, Lauren and Todd.

Kayden Mathew Carter, infant son of Mathew Carter and Kenzie Robinson of Alexander, died Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010. He was born on Feb. 17, 2010, in Little Rock.
Other survivors include his sister, Kinley Carter, and his grandparents, Vicki and Tommy Sharp of Traskwood, Phil Robinson of Houston, Ark., Debra Duran of Benton and Andy Carter and Janet Faulkner, both of Alexander.

Johnny Larkin Jones, 85, of Benton died Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010 in Benton. He was born July 25, 1924, in Lonsdale to the late Johnny Larkin Sr. and Willie Dodson Jones.
Mr. Jones was of the Missionary Baptist faith and was a retired operator for Reynolds Metals Co.
He also was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Jones.
Survivors include two daughters, Daisy Curtis and husband Scott of Benton and Shirley Newby and husband Frank of Biloxi, Miss.; two grandsons, Scott Curtis Jr. and wife Renee and Jonathan Curtis and wife Lori, all of Bryant; three great-grandchildren, Luke, Clay and Isabella Curtis; a sister, Jackie Hosaka of Benton; a brother, Irvin Jones and wife Doris of Bryant; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Frank Hellen, 89, of Benton died Friday, Feb. 19, 2010, in Little Rock. He was born Nov. 10, 1920.
Mr. Hellen retired from Alcoa in 1979 as a department head in 1979. He was a
58-year member of Benton's First Baptist Church, where he was a deacon and
40-year choir member.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Hellen, and their longtime family
friend, Geraldine Northern.
Survivors include four daughters, JoAnn Arnn and husband Joe, of Little Rock, Shirley Mundy and husband Rod of Kennesaw, Ga., Peggy Truitt and husband Charlie and Patti Hellen, all of Newport News, Va.; four grandchildren, Allen Arnn and wife Debbie of Little Rock, Greg Mundy and wife Rachel of Hot Springs, Merideth Holcomb of Benton and Kimberly Lim and husband Denny of Dallas, Ga.; and 10 great-grandchildren.

William Paul Jones, 64, of Benton died Monday, Feb. 22, 2010, at his home. He was born July 15, 1945, in Kittanning, Pa., to the late William Paul Sr. and Virginia Jones.
Mr. Jones was a graduate of New Brighton (Pa.) High School and attended Spring Arbor (Mich.) University. He was an Army captain and Vietnam War veteran.
He also was preceded in death by a grandson, Zachary Peach.

Mrs. Chicane was a 1975 graduate of Benton High School, a past worthy advisor of Benton Assembly of Rainbow for Girls and a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Benton chapter 231. She was of the Baptist faith.

after 35 years as a registered nurse.

Mrs. Otey was a graduate of the Baptist State Hospital School of Nursing and served for years as a member of the Arkansas State Board of Nursing.

She also was preceded in death by her husband, Beacher Bullock; six brothers, Joe, Glenn, Louie, Herman, Jessie and twin Bill Hathcote; a sister, Jewell Hathcote Rowland; a son-in-law, Jim Smart; and a great-grandson, Steven White.

Family comments: She graduated from Benton High School in 1933 and grew up loving music and dancing. On April 26, 1934, she married a fine gentleman by the name of Beacher Bullock and later gave birth to two daughters, Norma and Carolyn, in the 1940s and '50s. She worked for Reynolds Metals Co. and then for Alcoa. She later worked for the Arkansas State Plant Board as a chemist and eventually retired in the late 1970s. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Benton and was one of the few able to see how far the world has truly come. From the development of the television to the creation of the Internet, she saw it all. As birthdays came and went, she was never left without her family, especially David Allen, always at her beck and call. Developing acute leukemia late in life, she was determined to beat it and was doing just that. She finished out her many years still living at home, strong as ever, on West Cross Street in Benton. Always supportive, always in charge, and always involved in each and everyone’s lives, she was a driving force in all of us. She held her Christian faith and family very dear to her heart, loving no one more than Christ himself. She was a loving and devoted wife mother, and grandmother. She will be forever missed.

Charles McDade Jr., 82, of Traskwood died Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010, at Saline Memorial Hospice House in Bryant. He was born Sept. 26, 1927, in Tinsman to the late Charles and Ollie McDade Sr.
Mr. McDade was retired from Pacific Smelting Co. of Torrance, Calif., and a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church of Traskwood. He was a Navy seaman first class during World War II and Navy storekeeper second class during the Korean War.
He also was preceded in death by two wives, Irene McDade and Biddie McDade; five brothers, Johnnie, Odell, Billy, Carroll and Bobby McDade; and a sister, Sarah McDade.
Survivors include a son, Larry McDade and wife Joanna of Visalia, Calif.; a brother, Norris McDade and wife Freda of Glen Rose; a sister, Mary Lee Stonebraker of Traskwood; a granddaughter, Rebecca Jo Hicks of Visalia, Calif.; a great-grandson, Zachary Taylor Hicks; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dr. George Thompson Gray Jr., 79, of Conway died Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010, at Conway Regional Medical Center. He was born Jan. 31, 1931, in Morrilton to the late Dr. George T. and Alma Leach Gray.
Dr. Gray was a doctor of chiropractic in Conway for 47 years. He was a 1948 graduate of Conway High School and graduated in 1958 from Logan Basic Chiropractic School in St. Louis, Mo. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War. After graduation from chiropractic school, he returned to Conway to join his father in practice at Gray Chiropractic Clinic in Conway. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Conway. He was previously involved in the Boy Scouts of America and the Optimist Club.
Survivors include his wife, Juanice Gray; a sister, Gloria Gray Frenier and husband Dick; a son, Dr. George T. Gray III and wife Ashley; three daughters, Sharon Grable and husband Jerry, Libby McRae and Karen Griggs and husband Kevin; and eight grandchildren.

“Peggy” Eva Margaret Fulcher Glover, 65, of Traskwood died Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010, at Saline Memorial Hospice House in Bryant following a short battle with lymphoma. She was born Nov. 15, 1944, in Walla Walla, Wash., to the late William and Dorothy Chedister Ful-
cher.
Miss Glover was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church in North Little Rock. She
was a graduate of Carlisle High School, Blackwood Beauty School and McGuire-
Smith Cosmetology Training Center. She owned Peggy’s Country Curl in Lonoke,
was co-owner of Academic World of Cosmetology in Little Rock and owned Our Little
Farm in Traskwood. She served on the Advisory Council of the Board of Education, Arkansas Board of Cosmetology, and the Arkansas Cosmetology School Owner’s Association. She retired to the farm in 2007 to continue caring for her mother, Nanny Dot.

Family comments: God gave Peggy a flare for hair and a passion for teaching. She taught in Little Rock, Helena and Malvern, touching many lives. Kenneth B. Stewart, 74, of Benton died Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at his home.
Mr. Stewart retired from the Air Force in 1974 and from Benton Utilities in 1991.
He was preceded in death by parents, Cecil and Nina Stewart, and a brother, Richard Stewart.
Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann Huchingson Stewart; three sons, William Stewart, James Stewart and wife Deborah of Benton and Doug Stewart and wife Stephani of Nebraska; two sisters, Carolyn Seward and Mollie Prosser; two granddaughters, Jayme Langford and Lyndsey Stewart; and two great-grandchildren, both of Benbrook, Texas.
Funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, March 5, at the Ashby Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Lee Cemetery.

Nellie Jean Green, 83, of Bauxite died Wednesday, March 3, 2010. She was born Oct. 29, 1926, in Little Rock.
Mrs. Green was a homemaker and a member of United Pentecostal Church in Benton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry H. and Ollie Shoemaker; a brother, Raymond Shoemaker; and a granddaughter, Jamie Green.
Survivors include her husband, Orval Green; five sons, David, Danny, Jimmy, Paul and Michael Green; two brothers, Jack and Billy Shoemaker; five sisters, Thelma Davis, Vivian McDonald, Shirley Norris, Janie Minnis and Judy Wallace; nine grandchildren, Gina Green, Judy Smoke, Kimberly Green McDade, Jennifer Dykes and Jimmy Phillip, Joey, Marcus, Jason and Michaela Green; and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 6, at Pine Crest Memorial Park in Alexander with the Rev. O.D. Crabtree officiating.

Addie Lois Thomas Montgomery, 75, of Bryant died Tuesday, March 2, 2010. She was born Montgomery Feb. 27, 1935, in Adona to the late, Earl W. and Mildred Bryant Thomas.
She also was preceded in death by her husband, James Morris "Monty" Mont-
gomery Jr.; a sister, Jessie Claxton; and a stepson, Steven Montgomery.
Survivors include a daughter, Jeanette Fleming and wife Steve; four sons, Jerry
Smith and wife Nancy, Carl Smith and wife Patti, Billy Smith and wife T.J. and Tim
Smith and wife Marty; a stepson, James "Jim" Morris Montgomery III and wife Sharron;
a stepdaughter, Sharon Pierce; a sister, Helen Curry; five brothers, Charles, Gene, Earl, Phillip Thomas and Frankie Brooks; 18 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Family comments: Addie enjoyed gardening, cooking, shopping and spending time at the lake. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family.
Billie Catherine Rothenberger Jennings, 78, formerly of Benton
Billie Catherine Rothenberger Jennings, 78, formerly of Benton and Hot Springs, died Tuesday, March 2, 2010 in Nevada, Mo. at Barone’s Alzheimer’s Care Center, where she was a resident for the last seven years. She was born Sept. 8, 1931, in Benton to the late Christopher Ulrich and Eleanor James Rothenberger.
Mrs. Rothenberger was a 1948 graduate of Benton High School where she was a cheerleader, captain of the girls basketball team and editor of the school newspaper, Panther Tales. She married Edward Theo “Ted” Jennings on Jan. 11, 1952, at Benton's First Baptist Church. After her husband was discharged from the Army, they returned to Arkansas and lived most of their lives in Hot Springs. She was a licensed practical nurse.
She also was preceded in death by her husband, who died Dec. 17, 2008, in Joplin, Mo., and two sisters, Erma Lee Cordell and Mary Dean McDonald.
Survivors include two sons, Judge Kelly S. Jennings and wife Kevin of Norcross, Ga., and Rodney T. Jennings and wife Gina of Hot Springs; a daughter, Shelley Jennings Horst and husband Rudy of Nevada, Mo.; 12 grandchildren, Kelly J., Elizabeth, Tyler, Griffin, Kendall, Emily, Zachary, Benjamin and Brady Jennings and Mary Eleanor, Edward and Lyn Horst; a great-grandchild, Keaton Jennings; two brothers-in-law, Charles “Bill” Jennings and wife Billie Sue of Mountain Pine and Carl “Cotton” Cordell of Hot Springs; a sister-in-law, Sharon Daugherty and husband Phil of Benton; three nieces; and four nephews.
Graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, March 6, at Pine Crest Memorial Park in Alexander with Dr. John McCallum, minister of First Baptist Church in Hot Springs, officiating.

Esther Bell, 96, of Benton
Esther Bell, 96, of Benton died Wednesday, March 3, 2010, in Jonesboro. She was born Feb. 14, 1914, in Sagerton, Texas, to the late William George and Freida Burmeister Jander, the second of three daughters.
Mrs. Bell grew up on a farm near Enid, Okla., where she attended high school and business college. She was a member of the Benton First United Methodist Church. She married the late Dr. Gifford H. Bell in 1937 and moved Benton, where Dr. Bell began his dental practice. She was his office manager until he retired.
She also was preceded in death by a sister, Elsie Jander.
Survivors include a sister, Elizabeth Sunderland of Corpus Christi, Texas; a brother-in-law, Dr. William Bell and wife Yola of Jonesboro; several nephews; and a cousin, Marguerite Bryan of Benton.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Ashby Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. George McCoy officiating. Burial will be in New Rosemont Cemetery.

Family comments: Esther was loved by all who knew her and will be missed. She loved to cook and play golf. She was a common sight in her neighborhood, where she walked her pet poodle daily.

Joel L. Kimery Sr., 64, of Benton died Friday, March 5, 2010. He was born Aug. 21, 1945, in Hot Springs.
Mr. Kimery was a retired Army National Guard staff sergeant and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Wilson and Lucy Lee Kimery, and a brother, Jeff David Kimery.
Survivors include his wife, Marsha Kimery; a son, Joel Kimery Jr. of Benton; a daughter, Carol Kimery Martin of Benton; a brother, John Clyde Kimery of Auburn, Calif.; and two grandchildren, Carter Ashton Kimery and Kendal Ashleigh Morrisey.

Thelma B. Pinedo, 84, of Benton died Friday, March 5, 2010. She was born Dec. 16, 1925, in Blytheville.
Mrs. Pinedo was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Georgia Applewhite.
Survivors include her husband, Theodolo Pinedo; two sons, Michale Tacey of Mississippi and David Pickle and wife Julie of Texas; a daughter, Wanda Rogers and husband William of Texas; a stepson, Theodolo Pinedo and wife Elma of Texas; two stepdaughters, Nora and Nancy Pinedo, both of Texas; a brother, Roy Applewhite of Texas; a sister, Lois Robinson and husband Dwayne of Texas; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Holt was retired from Maybeline and was non-denominational.

Juanita “Foiles” Akins Beyer, 83, of Bryant died Sunday, March 7, 2010. She was born Feb. 15, 1927, in Woodson to the late Woodson and Ludia Foiles.
Mrs. Beyer became involved with WOTM Chapter 1660 in Hot Springs in Oc-
tober 1994. She earned her Academy of Friendship and was senior regent from
1994-96. She earned her College of Regents Degree in May 2003.
Family comments: She loved to fish, play bingo and spend time with her family.
She also is survived by her two beloved dogs, Babee and Pepe
She also was preceded in death by two husbands, John “Jack” Akins and Melvin Beyer; five brothers; a sister; and a granddaughter, Marissa Shaw.
